Redondo Beach
The City of Redondo Beach is about 23 miles southwest of Los Angeles and LAX is only 5 miles to the north of the city, on the coast. The city prides itself on its beautiful and lush parks and its huge dog park, King Harbor (a very large marina), senior center, a performing arts center and two libraries.

Redondo Beach has a large circular pier with restaurants, fast food spots, gift shops and other unique shops, and hosts annual events like live concerts, art festivals and other shows. The western terminus of the Metro Rail Green Line is in North Redondo Beach. Many of the Aerospace companies are in Redondo Beach, with concentrations of employment and retail activity that includes a northern industrial complex anchored by the Northrop Grumman Corporation campus; the Harbor/Pier area; the Galleria at South Bay–-a regional mall anchoring the east end of the City, and a mix of specialty shops, restaurants and services known as the Riviera Village area in the south end of the City, almost on the ocean front.

The city has been a destination resort city for more than 100 years and has become one of the most desirable places to live in the country. There is a coastline of beaches rivaling the most beautiful Mediterranean resorts, the pleasure pier for fishing, strolling, shopping and dining, a sport fishing fleet, a harbor with many seaside restaurants and cafes, several modern, large shopping centers and many diverse residential neighborhoods – all contributing to a relaxed and unique seaside ambiance.
Redondo Beach is the largest of the South Bay Beach Cities, and is made up of 2 sections; North Redondo Beach and South Redondo Beach.
